Gray shirting


Just curious what our successes have been with gray shirts? I know other programs do it and we’ve had possibly a few wrestlers gray shirt and then move into a starting role.

I can see where it’s adventagous but wonder if that extra year of wear and tear really helps the wrestler who’ll likely redshirt too
